Prague June 12-15

We get to Prague and realize that this is a place where we actually don't know anything about the language . With Germany both Candace and I knew a little bit but we don't even know how to say "do you speak English" in Czech . Its definitely interesting being somewhere where you don't understand a word people are saying . Luckily a lot of people spoke English. But it was definitely different. And I've been noticing too just how amazing this world we live in is, so many different people. We all look so different, speak different languages, live in such different cultures and yet we are all the same in so many ways . It's truly amazing and beautiful.

We got to enjoy some good cheap food in Prague . The view from the top of the Prague castle was breathtaking ! On our way down from the castle we saw a cat that looked kinda like bijou, she was adorable and pregnant :p .

Candace and I hopped on the bus at night on our way back to the hostel and we didn't have a ticket. Of course we're the first ones on the bus to get asked for our tickets by the police that randomly comes on and checks. After shuffling around a not we say we don't have our tickets . Then they ask for our passports and grab Candaces from her as shes showing them her picture and they tell us we have to pay the fine . We can either go with them to the ATM or go to the police station and pay 10 times more. We were both pretty freaked out and Candace was about to cry but they could care less, they were not going to let us go off with a warning . So we went to ATM and paid them and went home. Twas a horrible way to end our time in Prague.

Overall Prague was beautiful but not as exciting as everyone made it seem. Don't think I'll go back.
